We care about everyone's health

Dr. Blenis-Gittens is an experienced health educator who aims to provide opportunities for all students to learn the most up to date information on health topics.

Dr. B's motivation to provide opportunities for everyone to learn how to care for their body and mind starts with her experiences before teaching.  As a previous three-sport student-athlete, an athletic trainer, a previous private and public school student, a daughter of a scientist, and a daughter of a mother who opened many windows into holistic care, she gained great perspective of how different groups of people miss out on learning health-related information.

She aims to support parents to open learning opportunities for their children so their children do not have to learn these lessons the hard way, as she has watched many friends, family members, and peers.
